The Winsted Farmers Market began this past week. Previously held on Thursdays, the Winsted farmers market has returned to its original Wednesday date, June 22. The move back to the original Wednesday date was a result of a conflict with the Howard Lakes Farmers Market, and organizatorices are hoping that the new date will allow more local growers to join the event. Already, the market has added several new vendors, offering a variety of fruits and vegetables, baked goods, eggs, soaps, and other handcrafted items.
